  • Flatwork is a smooth, paved surface poured flat along the horizontal plane. Everyday examples of flatwork include concrete slab sidewalks and residential driveways. In the industrial world, flatwork appears in the form of warehouse floors, parking lots, and loading docks.

  • The steps involved in constructing concrete stairs include designing, preparing a foundation, building formwork, placing reinforcement steel bars in the concrete and pouring it into moulds. Constructing concrete stairs is a complex task that requires not only engineering expertise but also skilled labor.

  • Stem walls are a part of the slab foundation system. A buildings stem wall attaches the walls of the home to the foundation. Stem walls are often composed with concrete and rebar.

  • Decorative Concrete is concrete that has received treatments to create aesthetic effects. These treatments may include coloring, polishing, texturing, embossing, molding, etching, applying cementitious toppings, embedding items, or a combination of these.

  • Concrete stamping is the procedure which uses the concrete stamps to make the pattern in the stamped concrete. Concrete stamps are placed on the concrete after the color release has been applied. The concrete stamps are pushed into the concrete and then removed to leave the pattern in the stamped concrete.

  • Resurfacing is a proven method of restoring the durability and appearance of dilapidated concrete by applying a thin layer of pre-blended, polymer-modified flowable mortar on top of an existing surface. Resurfacing concrete is a significantly less expensive than replacing it.

  • Concrete masonry, also known as concrete blockwork, is a modular building material made of concrete blocks, bricks, or tiles that are laid in walls by masons. Concrete masonry units (CMUs) are made from dry, stiff concrete mixtures of Portland cement and aggregates like sand and crushed stone. The aggregates form the block's structure, and the cement binds them together. CMUs can also include pigment to improve their appearance.
